Food

Food Fed to Parents and How Often:

Wood, daily; sweet potato (raw) or red bell peppers (raw), every other week; algae wafers every few days; boiled shrimp or clams, every other week except weekly when conditioning. Live black worms, weekly.

Food Fed to Fry and How Often:

Same as parents, except the raw sweet potato was shredded. Also added freeze-dried black worms. Fed twice daily.

Comments

A standard pleco breeder. Breeds in tight caves (about 1" internal diameter). They like a tank decorated with wood and rocks and caves. No plants welcome. A single male can start a new spawn about ever 3 weeks.
